ABOUT OUR RESTAURANT
The Strawberry Street Café is an eatery that
reflects not only the charm of the Fan area,
but its diversity as well. It is a gathering place
for both artists and lawyers, businessmen and
college students, grandparents and
grandchildren.
Many have traveled from literally hundreds of
miles away solely on the buzz generated by
others.
Intricate stained glass, rich woodwork, antique
mirrors, fresh flowers and candles on every table all give the Cafe a
sense of coziness and intimacy. On each wall is a chalkboard created by
artist members of the restaurant staff who change their work seasonally.
Recently, Strawberry Street Café experienced national recognition on the game show Jeopardy.

The Strawberry Street Café in this Virginia capital
is famous for its bathtub salad bar, to which the
question was: What is Richmond?
In the center of the restaurant sits the famous
salad bar, situated in an oversized old-fashioned
bath tub and filled with fresh vegetables, fruits,
and prepared salads. In addition to the standard
menu, which includes everything from burgers to
quiche to pasta to steak, lunch and dinner specials vary daily. Strawberry
Street Café is possibly best known for its wine program. The program
incorporates an extensive national and international selection and also
features our favorite Virginia wines.

Strawberry Street Café has won the Gold Cluster
Award from the Virginia Wine Industries Governors
Cup for its outstanding representation of the
States wines every year since 1994. In addition,
Strawberry Street has repeatedly been
recognized in area magazines for its wine list
and informative staff.
All wines are available by the glass or bottle and
all bottles are priced under twenty-five dollars.
Whether it‘s a glass of wine at Richmond's first
wine bar, a Flight of three different wines for you
to taste and compare or a bottle at the table,
Strawberry Street is proud to maintain the most
complete and reasonable wine list in town.
